so THIS is where you went.......!

just checking in here saying hello.  I don't build extended range basses: just 4's 5's and EUB's  but I'm a big Stew fan.

I'll probably be in lurker mode a lot unless there are luthier related questions i can chime in on....

take care, all .

that's where having a low F# would be handy for adding  a suspenseful soundtrack as you try to generate income.

I sometimes wonder what  the soundtrack to my life is:  Probably a mix of the Blues Brothers and  Lounge Lizard standards.......

(could be time for existential musings, or scotch)

All I can tell you is this:

If you go the scotch route, keep it single malt!

Grin

I wish Katrina hadn't beenquite so equal opportunity in her destruction. Some of the scores I recorded for theatrical plays featured some material I really enjoyed.

(insert sound of wistful sigh)

too broke for single malt....... just a little Johnny black (actually red is fine as well... old taste buds)  but that's actually a winter drink for me. pondering existential matters, listening to the soundtrack in my head,  and eating cheez its.......I think that's how Nietche and Freud thunk their thoughts

I think those two dodged their thoughts like bullets... or were too soaked in absinthe to do so.

I could be wrong...

seriously...... Freud (a guy)  decided that it all revolves around the penis...... What guy HASN'T  thought those thoughts?  Pass the Brats!

I'd say something witty about Neitsche but I really only know anything about him  from watching Monty Python's 'the meaning of life'

Wait a second. Everything *DOESN'T* revolve around the penis??

There may be a paradigm shift in my future...

No, Stew........................ it certainly does revolve around the penis.....and maybe some pastrami in my case (a bit of sublimation, perhaps).... You're still on the right track!

thanks, stew..... it was funny when i'd  e-mail to order one pickup and  it would take 14 e-mails of quips, quotes, and queues:-) before it was all said and done... sometimes the pickup would have arrived but the e-mails rolled on

all good fun
